Board of Intermediate Education Karachi conducts the annual and supply exams of 11th class and 12th class in Karachi. All the public and private colleges and higher secondary schools in Karachi are affiliated with BIEK while regular and private students participate in the 11th class annual exams and 12th class annual exams in large numbers every year. BIEK organizes the 11th class annual exams and 12th class annual exams in the months of May and June. For FA/ FSC students, written papers are held during the month of May while practical papers for FSC students are conducted by BIEK during the month of June.

Intermediate Board Karachi announces the date sheets of HSSC part 1 annual exams and HSSC part 2 annual exams few months before the start of the exams in February or March every year. Soon after the announcement of the date sheets, BIEK uploads the date sheet 2025 at its official site for the convenience of the students and they can easily view their required date sheet 2025 through the site. Date sheets are very important for the students as they provide them with complete examination schedule, time table and location in order to prepare for their exams well.
